Korennacht 2025
This year, Korennacht celebrates its 7th edition! The ultimate “Magical Mystery Tour”, The Big Sing festival without Korennacht and evening full of choral surprises is unthinkable!
Once on your bike, you are assigned to one of the three pelotons cycling to various secret locations. Only the peloton leaders know the addresses! At each location you’ll enjoy a series of short surprise concerts by all kinds of ensembles. The cycling audiences then come together for a final late night concert. But be quick: Korennacht is always the first event of the festival programme to sell out!
The Korennacht program has been compiled by Merel Martens (conductor, vocal coach and pedagogue). This year we avoid Haarlem’s busy city centre (a little) and concentrate on the beautiful surroundings of Haarlem North. As ever Korennacht promises something completely new: unexpected locations and beautiful performances. Korennacht is not just a feast for the ears, but also for the planet – we pedal our way from concert to concert, leaving nothing but musical footprints behind!
The teaser: this year we end Korennacht in Haarlem’s Alderbertus church, with a bite to eat and a drink to enjoy the closing performance by… for now this will remain a secret.
